Our Sisterhood has a long history and tradition of service to
our congregation and our community. It has many important responsibilities and activities at B'nai Israel.

on the role of each member.
We are proud to be involved
in the following projects at B'nai Israel:

Library -
We were
responsible for building our library and they continue to expand it with the addition of new books regularly.

Sisterhood Shabbat -
This is an annual event where the Sisterhood
conducts a Friday night
service, usually at the end of January. The Sisterhood provides the oneg shabbat.

Religious School -
We
support the education of our children by making an annual donation to help the school celebrate the holidays.
- College Liaison -
We
send
care packages to college students during
Rosh Hashanah and Hanukkah to let them know we are thinking of them.

Special Projects -
We
support special projects at B'nai Israel like funding part of the
new improvements to our handicap access.
